Believe it or not, TheAffairSite started after I was cheated on by my ex-wife. I was at first extremely hurt when I caught her in a lie and she admitted she had been seeing another man behind my back. But, as we talked about why she had cheated on me, I realised I'd become quite bored, and also quite boring.

How I Came To Embrace Affairs

After my own experience, I learnt that it's better to follow your heart than stay in a flat, boring marriage. I set up TheAffairSite as a site for people to find the excitement that their current relationship lacks. Sometimes that will save the relationship - other times it will help them realise it has run its course and is time to call time on it. As you get older you start to realise what's important in life, and you begin to understand what you want. Consigning yourself to a life where the passion has evaporated is not something I will ever advocate, and I say that as someone who has been cheated on.

I won't claim to be serving some noble cause. TheAffairSite is primarily about people who were in the situation that my ex-wife and I found ourselves in: people who need some spark put back into their lives. The Affair Site is about helping those people find that spark.
